Jon LeSage – Director of Golf Operations
Worthington Manor Golf Club welcomes PGA Professional Jon LeSage as our new Director of Golf Operations at our championship golf course. A Maryland native, Jon has been a PGA Certified Professional since 1993. Jon is a dedicated PGA Professional who will focus on enhancing our welcoming environment where members and guests can enjoy all that Worthington Manor offers.
Jon has more than 32 years of experience in the golf industry with 25 of those years as a Member of the PGA. Jon has worked a combined 11 years at Congressional Country Club, TPC Potomac at Avenel Farms, and Columbia Country Club. He was also the Head Professional at Falls Road Golf Course in Potomac Maryland for 11 years, and most recently the General Manager and Head Professional at The Club at PB Dye for four years. Elected to membership in the PGA of America in 1993 under the tutelage of Bill Strausbaugh, Jon knows what it takes for members and guests to feel welcome as soon as they enter the property. Among his golf achievements are competing in the 1995 NIKE Dominion Open, 1996 Kemper Open, and winning numerous Middle Atlantic events and Pro Am’s. Over the course of Jon’s golf experience, he has been passionate about teaching and growing the game of golf. Jon enjoys teaching golf at all levels from beginners, juniors, and expert level golfers. Jon attended Methodist College in Fayetteville, North Carolina from 1984-1989 and played for the Methodist Golf Team. LeSage lives with his wife, Anne and three children in Frederick, Maryland.
