Head Golf Professional
Ed Coyle – Worthington Manor’s original and only Head Golf Professional, Ed has provided one-on-one and group/clinic instruction for 17 years in Maryland and 23 years overall as a teaching professional. Ed’s philosophy with all players, advanced to beginner, is stressing solid fundamentals in the set-up and swing to provide rewarding results. Between the student(s) and Ed, a game plan will be determined to best improve ball striking, short game and course management to maximize positive results. Ed has competed in numerous high level tournaments in his playing career, including the Eastern Regional PGA Club Pro Championship, Maryland Open and Maryland Senior Open and was runner-up in the Emmett Kelly Masters in his hometown of Syracuse, NY.
Assistant Head Golf Professional
Worthington Manor’s original teaching professional returns to our club after years away, most recently as Head Golf Professional at The Links at Erie Village in Syracuse, NY. David welcomes students of the game on all levels from true beginners to advanced tournament players. David has years of experience in conducting individual, group and clinic type instruction. His method of teaching is based on the fundamentals of the golf swing, meshing body and club movement to improve ball striking. David is also a firm believer of on-course instruction to ensure a student takes to the playing field what he/she has learned at the practice area. On many days, you can find David “loitering” on the range, giving tips to patrons of Worthington Manor.
