Worthington Manor Golf Club named 2019 Golfweek’s Best Courses You Can Play! This is our 13^th consecutive year.

Golfweek founded in 1975 has distinguished itself from all other publications in terms of the depth of its rating criteria, the integrity of the process and the extent to which it has developed a community of raters through educational workshops and national meetings.

Their team of raters evaluate golf courses on the basis of 10 separate criteria’s. By adhering to these standards, raters learn not to evaluate on the basis of how well or how poorly they play. Instead, Golfweek has developed a sense of judgment so that all courses can be rated on a comparative basis.

The Board of the Maryland State Golf Association has selected Worthington Manor Golf Club to host the 98th Maryland Open Championship July 15-17, 2019. Worthington Manor is honored to have been selected to host this prestigious event and is notably only the third public golf club to host this historic championship.
