We hope we don’t jinx ourselves but Worthington Manor’s local precipitation forecast (as of today) for this Saturday ranges from 20%-50% compared to 60%-70% for the DC area. Even though there’s a higher chance of no precipitation (50%-80%) Worthington Manor guarantees it will not rain on your round this Labor Day weekend. If it does rain 1/10th of an inch or more during your round at Worthington Manor you will be guaranteed a Super Rain Check. A Super Rain Check is an 18-hole rain check regardless of the number of holes played, even if we receive 1/10th of an inch while you are on the 18th hole. The Patrick Shifflett Foundation Invitational Golf Tournament

Patrick Shifflett, a student at Clarksburg High School, had huge impact on those around him. This impact became apparent on June 7, 2016 when Patrick, along with 2 friends, died in a car accident. Thereafter, The Patrick Shifflett Foundation was born out of Patrick’s love of helping others. The Shifflett family realized they could carry on Patrick’s legacy and help others as well. There are many people in our own community who could use our help with continuing their education after high school, and the birth of the Patrick Shifflett Foundation is a means to do that.

Greens will not be aerified again until next year!

See how well our greens are rolling which will NOT be aerified again until next year! We aerified 2x this past spring so the only hole you’ll find on our greens is a 4 ¼” hole A.K.A. the “cup.” Stay tuned we’ll try to make this putt again on a day when there is less moisture on the greens.​​
